    Candles / bars on MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 trading terminals

    Follow these steps to view more bars and candles on your MT4/MT5 charts:

    1. Go to ‘Tools’ in the menu bar and then click ‘Options’

    2. Select the ‘Charts’ tab.

    3. At the bottom, you can find the section ‘Max bars in history' and ‘Max bars in chart’. Please, proceed to manually type in how many bars you would like to see and then click ‘OK’.

    4. Refresh your charts to display this new change. Do this by right-clicking directly onto the chart and selecting ‘Refresh’.
